INVASIVE PREDATOR MANAGEMENT
Long-Term Management for the Protection of Native Species
Our team of Biologists, Associate Biologists and Predator Control Specialists provide exceptional on-the-ground predator control in remote Hawai'ian environments. From isolated sea cliffs and lowland valleys to the mountain rainforests, we protect native species by removing invasive mammalian and avian predators. Melding classic trapping and removal practices with modern technologies and innovations, we are able to adapt our strategies, no matter the challenge.
TRAINING AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Training and Guidance for Best Management Practices
With years of experience, our staff has the capabilities and expertise to help you develop and implement a highly impactful predator control program. From trapping and hunting techniques, to big-picture data & program management, we provide consultation for a variety of predator control needs. We conduct in the field instruction, active group demonstrations, and other forms of developmental project assistance.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Improving Knowledge and Understanding of Invasive Predators in Hawaii
In our years managing invasive species in Hawaii, we have found that knowledge and understanding is critical to effective management. In order to advance current understanding of the biology and ecology of invasive species, we conduct field studies which directly inform our trapping and management practices. Both in collaboration with research partners as well as independently, we seek to improve predator control for the greater protection of our most vulnerable ecosystems.
